Imitation gold leaf on toilet; Dimensions variable
A temporary installation for a public WC (open to the public, eg gallery toilet) in which the toilet is gilded at the beginning of the event. The toilet is then used by the public throughout the exhibition, gradually changing its surface appearance. When the exhibition is over, the gilding is removed, and the toilet returns to its original state. Installed at David Roberts Art Foundation, London for The Object of the Attack exhibition 2009.
