My research report Artsits as Workers, and subsequent role as consultant editor for Industria’s Structurally F~cked inquiry, alongside other work in the field of artists’ precarious livelihoods have given me substantial experience in how the inequitable arts economy excludes anyone who doesn’t have a safety net. I share these insights with policy-makers, in articles, essays and speaking on panels and roundtables, campaigning for initiatives to make the Visual Arts sector more accessible, equitable and sustainable. I advocate for collective organising and solidarity, and am an active member of Artists Union England.
